The Felted Ewe proudly offers our Natural Black Brown Core Wool Batt! Core Wool is used for the centers of larger pieces. Your Colored Wools are then needle felted over the top, this allows your Colors to go farther! *See our Needle Felted Apple Instructions. We do not recommend using these fibers for clothing items as they may irritate the skin. Due to the nature of the cleaning process, some vegetable matter has been left behind. These fibers have been commercially carded. Wool carding, using a Commercial or Drum Carder, is the process of brushing the wool with wire teeth, in this case, to form webs of fiber sheets that have been layered on top of one another & to remove larger pieces of vegetable matter from the wool.
